1. Central California in the Spring
Weekend trip to Central California for fellow V/Ner wedding. Detoured on way home to CA 198 for wildflowers and ended up staying overnight at Pinnacles National Park, with a lovely hike in the morning. Had to eat out of the camp store, though, since we weren't at all provisioned....

2. Louisiana for Niece's Wedding in the Fall
With NOLA pre-celebration gathering for Lisa's parents' first beignet at Cafe du Monde.
Non-RV Trips in 2016
1. Florida
We were able to visit Biscayne NP and Dry Tortugas NP, as well as my dad, a college buddy in Ft. Lauderdale, and indulge in Miami Beach and Key West--a first for us both.
A new strategy this trip: 4 days in Lower Manhattan to see the sites, then moving uptown to join friends and do Broadway and the uptown museums.
3. SF with niece and fiancee (wedding gift)
A whirlwind weekend that showed these Cajuns the major sites in SF and Monterey:
Golden Gate Bridge
Alcatraz
Lombard Street
City Hall
Ferry Building
Chinatown
Cable Cars
Giant Redwoods
Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
Big Sur
A vineyard/winery
In N Out Burger
4. Virginia
Many wonderful things to see and do: Bruce Hornsby's 1st annual FunHouse Fest; sorority sisters (Barb and Dianne) as well as brother and his wife; and revisiting (for me; visiting for Lisa) Monticello, Mt. Vernon, Shenandoah and Blue Ridge NPs.
